The Grifton Volunteer Fire Department is made up of over 40 members. Our volunteers respond to almost 150 calls for help each year.  Our protection area is large and diverse, presenting many challenges. Our ambulance district is 50 square miles. The men and women of the Grifton Volunteer Fire Department dedicate their lives to provide fire protection and  emergency medical service for citizens and visitors in our community.

We also have an active Junior Firefighter Program and Ladies' Auxiliary.
